It’s always lovely to know how much our bride & grooms really love their wedding photographs. Michael & Corrina’s wedding was earlier this year at Arley Hall & Gardens and I received this sweet message with their Christmas card.
‘ Thanks for all the hard work on the day and taking so many memorable wedding pictures. It was a fabulous day, I hope you enjoyed it too. The pictures are beautiful. Definitely one of the best days in our lives, and we have all your lovely pictures to remember it by. Corrina & Michael.’

Yesterday evening saw the regional print awards for the North West BIPP Region.
I am totally chuffed to bits that this image won the Portrait Award.

Just a few teasers from Daniel & Emma’s wedding at the new Hallmark Hotel in Wilmslow, which was previously known as the Belfry.
The new green reception area is fantastic and adds a nice contemporary feel to the hotel.
The ceremony was at St.Johns on Brooklands road in Sale.

I have covered many wedding’s from different cultures, but this is my first Chinese wedding. I was particularly interested in the Tea Ceremony, which turns out to be very similar to a tradition in Hindu wedding’s (although without the Tea!). The signing of the Table Cloth is also something new I have never witnessed before and think this is a lovely tradition, and will make for a very special momento for Michael & Corrina.
The wedding was at the magnificent Arley Hall & Gardens, and thankfully the weather was equally accommodating.

Last year Vanilla Photography took part in a host of seminars by the Tameside Business Family. I had completely forgotten that we were also included in the largest classified ad by Brother UK to launch their new printer.
Placed on the side of the MEN arena in Manchester it stayed in this city centre position for 2 weeks in November.

Here are some recent updates to Emma’s model portfolio. These were shot in a loft space filled with old battered leather sofa’s and armchairs.
One of the treats to shooting up in this room was the reams of natural daylight that poured in through a bank of windows.
