What a soggy Saturday! Has summer already disappeared?
I did the engagement shoot for Heena & Vinay this weekend. Really well done to both of them for braving such a damp and miserable day, their images look fab and it’s really quite difficult from the images to see how damp Manchester can be.
Their Indian wedding has yet to happen later this year at Davenport Green, but they’ve already had their civil wedding which was quite lovely and have sent me this fantastic email:
“Dearest Kiran,
Vinay and I really wanted to drop you a quick email to say a massive thank you for doing such a fabulous job (against all adversity!) at our saagai and civil wedding on 7th March 2010. The cold weather and tight schedule didn’t dampen your spirits or your ability to take some amazing photos, which in turn has given us a lasting record of our perfect day. Vinay and I are delighted with the superb, creative, unique and sheer quantity of photos you took – it is most certainly going to be a difficult selection to make for our storybook album.
You really captured the day for us and have given us precious crystallised moments to cherish – certain things we didn’t even get a chance to see for ourselves on the day. We look forward to you covering our pre and post Indian wedding and Wedding Reception.
Much love and happy married smiles, Heena and Vinay”

It’s always lovely to know how much our bride & grooms really love their wedding photographs. Michael & Corrina’s wedding was earlier this year at Arley Hall & Gardens and I received this sweet message with their Christmas card.
‘ Thanks for all the hard work on the day and taking so many memorable wedding pictures. It was a fabulous day, I hope you enjoyed it too. The pictures are beautiful. Definitely one of the best days in our lives, and we have all your lovely pictures to remember it by. Corrina & Michael.’

Receiving testimonials from clients is always lovely, here are a few recent ones.
Dear Kiran
I didn’t see you leave the wedding on Saturday and was unable to say thank you so much for a superb job, very well carried out. You put us all very much at ease and your manner was so relaxing and friendly. It’s not an easy task controlling an excited, nervous wedding ‘crowd’ but you did it in a fun but dignified manner.
The day was wonderful and memorable and your calm manner will be a lasting memory of it. I will recommend you highly not just as a supreme professional, but as a really lovely person. Thank you again Kiran, we look forward to seeing the photo’s.
Warmest Regards: Barbara Potts
Kiran
Thankyou so much for spending the full day photographing us on our wedding day, the photos you take are absolutely fantastic. It has got to be said you are simply the best in your field of work!
We went to see other photographers and they weren’t half as good as you. I will definitely be using you again in the future.
Thank you for helping us to make our day an unforgettable wedding day.
Best Wishes: Diane & Stephen Clark
